Modern Design Construction serves homeowners in Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grande, Tempe, Avondale, Waddell, Litchfield Park, Laveen, Anthem, and Buckeye. We handle the full scope: layout changes, shower and tub work, vanity and fixture updates, tile, and flooring. Peoria homes face hard water and desert heat that wear down grout, caulk, and standard fixtures faster than in cooler climates. FAQ

Bathroom Remodel FAQ

Common questions about bathroom remodel in Peoria, AZ.

Does Modern Design Construction handle full bathroom remodels in Peoria, or just small updates?

We handle both full remodels and targeted updates for Peoria homeowners. Whether you need a complete layout change or just new tile and fixtures, we can scope the right level of work for your bathroom.

Do you serve areas outside Peoria, like Scottsdale or Buckeye?

Yes, Modern Design Construction serves Scottsdale, Buckeye, Glendale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grande, Tempe, Avondale, Waddell, Litchfield Park, Laveen, and Anthem. If your home is in the West Valley or greater Phoenix area, reach out and we can confirm service to your address.

What does a bathroom remodel from a general contractor in Peoria typically include?

A bathroom remodel can include shower and tub work, vanity replacement, tile, flooring, fixtures, and layout changes. The exact scope depends on your bathroom's current condition and what you want the finished space to do.

Why does Arizona's hard water matter when planning a bathroom remodel in Peoria?

Hard water in Peoria leaves mineral deposits that stain and degrade grout, caulk, and fixture surfaces faster than in other regions. Choosing the right materials during a remodel reduces that buildup and cuts down on long-term maintenance.

How do I get started with Modern Design Construction on a bathroom remodel?

Contact us directly to describe your bathroom and what you want to change. We serve Peoria and surrounding cities and can talk through the scope before any work begins.

Can you remodel a bathroom in an older Peoria home with an existing layout?

Yes, we work with existing layouts and can update a bathroom without moving plumbing if that fits your goals. We assess what the space needs and plan the remodel around the structure already in place.

After living in this house for over 20 yrs our kitchen needed to be brighter and more modern looking. Derek and his crew did an excellent job installing new counters, backsplash, and all the other upgrades we had envisioned. Great communication, prompt service and cleanup. We wouldn’t hesitate to contract with Modern Design Construction again for future remodeling!

Derek did a complete gut and reconstruction of our kitchen and breakfast nook and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. He helped take our nice track home kitchen and make it custom home worthy! Derek expanded our island giving us more room for appliances and entertaining, added brand new cabinets that were extended up to the ceiling. We also added a whole new row of cabinets in our breakfast nook. To tie the whole project together, he updated our fireplace and added a matching mantle. The results speak for itself and he did an amazing job!

I finally have my dream kitchen. I initially wanted just my peeling cabinets replaced. Derek from Modern Design Construction LLC sent a picture of an updated much roomier kitchen. From start to finish, the hardest thing I had to do was pick out colors, flooring, knobs, a faucet and stay out of the way. The plumber, electrician, painter and flooring people all did exceptionally work. I highly recommended Modern Design Construction LLC. I am very pleased with my new kitchen.

We highly recommend Derek for your next remodel project. Our project included a major Kitchen redesign, as well as tile and cabinetry in two Bathrooms. From our very first meeting with Derek, he brought creative design ideas to help us reimagine our our spaces to achieve the bright and open concept we were looking for. This was a large project requiring multiple trades which Derek sourced and managed. It all went very smoothly and through each step, Derek worked closely with us to ensure every small detail met our expectations. His suggestions for tweaks here and there resulted in not only beautiful ascetics but, the best possible function as well. Thank you for everything Derek; you are a fabulous craftsman and a great guy! — Lisa Rae & Tom

Derek is very professional and quickly responded to my issues with the plumbing install. I would definitely recommend his company.
