Expert Custom home building in Peoria, AZ

Building a custom home in Peoria means making decisions that affect how your family lives for decades. Modern Design Construction works with homeowners across Peoria, Glendale, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Avondale, Buckeye, Laveen, Anthem, Litchfield Park, Waddell, Sun City, Sun City West, and Sun City Grande to plan and build homes designed around real life. Every floor plan, room layout, and finish is chosen by you, not pulled from a catalog. Peoria sits in a desert climate with intense summer heat, so home orientation, insulation, and indoor-outdoor flow all matter from the first design conversation. Our owner takes real satisfaction in watching a project move from an empty lot to a finished home, and that hands-on focus carries through every phase of the build. If you are ready to stop settling for someone else's floor plan, a custom build in Peoria gives you a home that fits your household from day one. Contact Modern Design Construction to start the conversation.

After living in this house for over 20 yrs our kitchen needed to be brighter and more modern looking. Derek and his crew did an excellent job installing new counters, backsplash, and all the other upgrades we had envisioned. Great communication, prompt service and cleanup. We wouldn’t hesitate to contract with Modern Design Construction again for future remodeling!

Derek did a complete gut and reconstruction of our kitchen and breakfast nook and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. He helped take our nice track home kitchen and make it custom home worthy! Derek expanded our island giving us more room for appliances and entertaining, added brand new cabinets that were extended up to the ceiling. We also added a whole new row of cabinets in our breakfast nook. To tie the whole project together, he updated our fireplace and added a matching mantle. The results speak for itself and he did an amazing job!

I finally have my dream kitchen. I initially wanted just my peeling cabinets replaced. Derek from Modern Design Construction LLC sent a picture of an updated much roomier kitchen. From start to finish, the hardest thing I had to do was pick out colors, flooring, knobs, a faucet and stay out of the way. The plumber, electrician, painter and flooring people all did exceptionally work. I highly recommended Modern Design Construction LLC. I am very pleased with my new kitchen.

We highly recommend Derek for your next remodel project. Our project included a major Kitchen redesign, as well as tile and cabinetry in two Bathrooms. From our very first meeting with Derek, he brought creative design ideas to help us reimagine our our spaces to achieve the bright and open concept we were looking for. This was a large project requiring multiple trades which Derek sourced and managed. It all went very smoothly and through each step, Derek worked closely with us to ensure every small detail met our expectations. His suggestions for tweaks here and there resulted in not only beautiful ascetics but, the best possible function as well. Thank you for everything Derek; you are a fabulous craftsman and a great guy! — Lisa Rae & Tom

Derek is very professional and quickly responded to my issues with the plumbing install. I would definitely recommend his company.
