Derek did a complete gut and reconstruction of our kitchen and breakfast nook and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. He helped take our nice track home kitchen and make it custom home worthy! Derek expanded our island giving us more room for appliances and entertaining, added brand new cabinets that were extended up to the ceiling. We also added a whole new row of cabinets in our breakfast nook. To tie the whole project together, he updated our fireplace and added a matching mantle. The results speak for itself and he did an amazing job!
Fan installation in Peoria, AZ
Modern Design Construction installs ceiling fans for homes across Peoria and the greater Phoenix area.
Expert Fan installation in Peoria, AZ
Fan installation is one of those projects where the details matter from the start. At Modern Design Construction, we handle ceiling fan installation for homeowners across Peoria, Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe, Avondale, Buckeye, Laveen, Anthem, Litchfield Park, Waddell, Sun City, Paradise Valley, and Phoenix. Arizona summers push air conditioning hard. A properly placed and mounted ceiling fan keeps air moving, which means your AC does not have to work as hard. We assess your ceiling type before anything else. Vaulted and sloped ceilings common in Peoria and Scottsdale homes require angled mounting brackets and the right downrod length so blades hang level and clear the ceiling safely. We also check whether an existing electrical box is fan-rated, since a standard light fixture box is not built to handle a fan's weight and motion. Every installation is done with the finished result in mind, from secure mounting to balanced blades to a clean switch connection. If you are ready to add a fan or replace an old one, contact us to get started.

Fan installation FAQ
Common questions about fan installation in Peoria, AZ.
Yes, we can replace a light fixture with a ceiling fan. We swap out the standard electrical box for a fan-rated one that handles the added weight and movement.
Vaulted ceilings in Scottsdale homes require an angled mounting bracket and the right downrod length. This keeps the blades level and at a safe distance from the ceiling surface.
Yes, we can add a fan to a room that has no existing ceiling fixture or wiring. The work involves running a new circuit and installing a fan-rated electrical box.
A wobbling or noisy fan in your Tempe home often points to worn mounting hardware, unbalanced blades, or an aging motor. Replacement is usually the more reliable fix when those issues are present.
Yes, we install fans in covered outdoor spaces in Avondale, Buckeye, and surrounding areas. Outdoor locations require a fan rated for damp or wet conditions depending on exposure.
Room size guides the right blade span. Smaller bedrooms and offices in Glendale generally do well with a smaller diameter fan, while open living areas and kitchens need a larger span to move air effectively.
